Last day today

Today was my last day at my old company. Because it's a quarter-end, I was very busy. If I didn't say I was leaving at 5pm, I would have got more work dumped on me. Well at least they weren't anxious to see the backside of me Smile

I start my new job on the Tues after the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend. Excited and scared, but mostly excited.

    It's nice to feel needed, and it sounds like they are going to realize what they have lost when you start the new position! Congrats again, that is really fantastic. End of quarter can lead to a lot of extra busy-work, but it is good that you set a deadline of 5pm and stuck to it. They can't make you stay late on your last day, not when you have the insurance of a better gig waiting for you! Nice going...
